Pompeii, Get-together, Other

So, I have been under the weather for the last few weeks and obviously have not been posting on this blog! (Although why losing my voice would effect my blogging I don't know.)

I handed off the baton to Carol who has been trying to get information from private tour operators in Naples area who might be available for a Pompeii tour. We are not sure if the failure of communication is because of language or just what. Anyway, this is one thing that we are still working on! Carol talked to her friend Joann who is an expert about the ancient Pompeii/Herculaneum world. Carol has received lots of reading material on this topic. I have looked at (and plan to look at) some of the websites to get an idea of what I want to do there, so we will be prepared with information even if we cannot get the plans together.

Second, you should go to Diane's blog and sign up to get the postings by e-mail (like you did here, good job! or maybe you already did that). That way you won't miss anything important. Like the change in the time for the pre-cruise social that is on June 1. It has been moved from an afternoon do to a brunch. Be sure to read the comment from Diane that explains about the change.

So that leads to the fact that we four are going to have a pre-pre-cruise social get-together on May 31 at Judy's. This will allow us to look at the excursions and make some decisions. Do your research, come up with your "bucket" list, and be ready to make plans!
