We are a group of four friends going on a cruise to the Mediterrannean in November 2008. We are using this space to collect information to help us get organized for the trip.

- Dangerous Beauty - this is a historical story about a courtesan in Venice, it is beautiful
- Death In Venice (1971) Dirk Bogarde, a sort of dark story by Thomas Mann
- L'Auberge Espagnole (2002) - set in Barcelona
- La Dolce Vita (1960) - I could never get into this movie but it has some great scenes of Rome
- Roman Holiday (1953) - Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck - a classic!
- Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone (1961) - original version with Vivien Leigh
- Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone (2003) - newer version with Helen Mirren looking like a very sexy older woman!
- Rome Adventure (1962) - Suzanne Pleshette & Troy Donahue: pretty campy movie, but fun

No, we havent thought about it yet, but it is a good idea so we won't be just wondering around without any idea where to eat. Lesley is still have so much trouble getting on the blog. She signed in under her original e-mail address and also tried with her new gmail address and neigher worked for her!!!!!!! What should she do? Ant ideas?
Why aren't you out skiing? Maybe she does not allow cookies or something about the way she has her computer set up? But did you get on using her machine? She can always comment by using a nickname and not trying to sign on. That should work okay.

Hi! I was feeling sort of abandoned with you all away! Especially since I am itching to start making hotel reservations! Ha! As you can see I have been making posts with links of things I have found just to keep track of them. So Welcome!
We really didn't make any sensible comment to this, but now that we possibly have a hotel!!! (I did send the info required and after I did it I wondered why they needed my signature! I was, of course, suspicious, but that is how we have to be now. I am sure it is fine, but it is crazy how you think of these things after you have already done them). Anyway, we can get some ideas of restaurants there. It can make it easier and if we don't like it then we can be on an adventure. So, we can start asking around.
